PROJECT UPDATE: Flax Place, Leeds
Our first project update from Flax Place! Construction is well underway on our latest 300-apartment Build-to-Rent (BTR) development in Leeds, delivering two impressive 11 and 15-storey blocks to the city centre.
The King Post and Plank retaining wall on the northern boundary is now complete, while substructure and superstructure works continue to advance. The first of four cores is finished, with the second well underway and the third set to begin by the end of February.
Elsewhere on site, pile caps and ground beams are progressing across three of the four sectors, and work has begun on the lower ground floor slab. In the coming weeks, efforts will focus on liner and ramp retaining walls, alongside preparations for installing the surface water attenuation system at the end of February. Looking ahead, mid-March will mark the start of Podium and Block A ground floor slab construction.
